Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart (and Ron Wood) played together in a band at one time called the Jeff Beck Group, if you didn’t already know. Talk about a retroactive Supergroup! We’re talking before Stewart and Wood left to do The Faces (yeah, that early on). It was only a couple albums before they left and Beck found some new guys to join his group. But if you’re a fan of that Stewart- and Wood-era of the Jeff Beck Group, here’s something you’d probably be interested in: video from a performance at the Hollywood Bowl a few nights ago where Jeff Beck joined Rod Stewart on stage for a number of songs! I Ain’t Superstitious, Rock My Plimsoul, People Get Ready – they did some absolute classics! Here’s the link to the videos!
