Brian May recently expressed some doubts he has about the potential success of a new studio album recorded with their current vocalist, Adam Lambert. It seems like this is mainly due to their last album (with Free/Bad Co vocalist Paul Rodgers) flopping – that one was called The Cosmos Rocks. They’re doing really well for themselves focusing on playing live shows first and foremost, so it sounds like he’d rather continue to do that rather than risk spending a ton of time on a new studio album that might not catch on. It’s sound reasoning, although can you expect anything else from Brian May? Here’s a link to the full story.
