A massive alligator that made its way onto a Florida golf course has gone viral. See The BEAST here!
The gator showed up at Sebring Golf Course this week, where Rich Louty snapped a picture of the beast — who doesn’t look particularly happy about being photographed. In a caption accompanying the photo on Facebook, Louty writes, “Welcome to Florida, home of Jurassic Park.” Although no one got close enough to the gigantic reptile to actually weigh it, witnesses say it may come close to beating the state’s alligator record of 14 feet, 3 1/2 inches long. The heaviest gator ever found in Florida was 1,043 pounds, wildlife officials say. What’s the largest animal you’ve encountered in the wild?
