Run For Valor

96.9 The Rock invites you to support a great cause and enjoy some fresh air and exercise at a beautiful farm in King George, Va. This 120-acre farm is home to the nonprofit Valor Ranch and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the nonprofit to expand the programs, activities, and services that they offer to injured service members. Valor Ranch is a 501(c)(3) organization that specializes in recreational therapy for military members that have sustained injuries in the service of this country. The 5K course is a trail run throughout the farm and will be officially timed. Runners can expect uneven terrain, an occasional tree root, and the possibility of mud (depending on the weather leading up to the race date). The course is on unpaved surfaces along pastures, woods, and a gravel road. The 1-mile fun run/walk will be on gravel roads and well-packed trails.
