Parkinson’s Awareness Run/Walk
@Ron Rosner Family YMCA
This is a wonderful event where Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and surrounding communities can come out and support the Parkinson’s community by running or walking the distance of their choice. The 5K is a mix of a trail and pavement run is timed for ages 12 and up. The 1 mile course is all paved and wheelchair accessible and is not officially timed and all ages welcome.

With four area gardens open to the public. The date is chosen to catch the peak of the medians (smaller, earlier irises) and some early tall bearded. Blooms may be slightly later in some gardens, but other types of flowers should also be in bloom in the gardens.
